Steamed Oysters Black bean sauce


Get nice fresh oysters.


prepare the black bean sauce...
3 large spoons of Lee kum kee black bean and garlic sauce
3 Cm of ginger and 5 cloves of garlic crushed
1 spoon of chili paste
2 to 3 spoons of sugar (Black bean sauce tends to be very salty)
Small sprinkle of water.

heat the sauce mixture in a small pan and let it slowly simmer while stirring
Dont bring it to a boil. set aside.



Can't resist slurping some of these down raw ;)


prepare the steamer, clean an amount of oysters for steaming halfshell.
add a small spoon of the sauce on the oyster, and on top some glass noodle.


Steam for about 4 minutes
DONT OVERCOOK THEM!


Carefully remove the oysters from the steamer, dont spill the liquids.


Place the oysters on a serving tray.
heat up some vegetable oil. Watch out that you dont burn yourself.


Add a small amount of spring onion and drizzle some boiling oil over the oysters.
this enhances the flavour of the sauce and onions.


Ready to serve!
